Can You Really Make $1,000 a Day With Data Entry Programs?

If you've spent any time at all researching online data entry programs you've probably come across a few that claim you can make $1,000 a day or more. No wonder people are skeptical when the vast majority of ordinary offline jobs pay less than a few hundred a day. So you might not make $1,000 a day, however there IS very good money to be made with data entry programs. I myself am living proof of this.

Technology really has come a long way over the years, and possibilities for earning money using the internet are endless. It's not all plain sailing though because there are a lot of scams too.

So what do you need to do to make money doing data entry?

Quite simply, it involves typing information into online forms on behalf of internet retailers that don't have the time to do it themselves. Companies need as many people as possible to type advertisements to promote their products, and for every sale you make you will earn a healthy commission (often in the region of $30-$50). You get paid twice a month by check or direct deposit.

This of course isn't actually a job but more of a home business. You are working for yourself, so you get to choose your own hours, and even your own earnings. The more work you do, the more money you will earn.

There are many great (and some 'not so great') data entry programs available online to teach you how to get started working for yourself doing legitimate data entry.

You need to be realistic about how much you will earn though. Most programs will claim that you can earn at least $200 a day, which is absolutely true. However when you start out you need to give yourself smaller goals. Start with something like $50 a day and work your way up - maybe $75 a day, then $100 etc.

Right now is a great time to get involved in data entry - did you know that it's entirely recession proof? Where many offline businesses are struggling to keep their heads above water, online business is thriving. You'll never run out of work, and rates are high.
