What's the Deal With My Internet Business? I Checked My Internet Biz Out

My Internet Business is an online "business in a box" that sets up home based internet marketers with the ability to market a variety of info products as well as a few other things. I was intrigued by the no hype claims looking for real value. You can join at the Bronze ($495), Silver ($995), Gold ($1,995) or Platinum ($2,995) level. However, the most important resource an opportunity can offer (Training), is only offered in full at the Platinum level. With this in mind we should disregard the more affordable entry levels because it doesn't matter how much you save if you fail due to lack of training.

So you pay $2,995 to join, and every time you sell a Platinum membership My Internet Business pays you a $2,000 commission. Not bad. What I didn't like so much is that if you sign me up, I join MyInternetBusiness and I sell a Platinum membership you only get $500. Not to mention it's almost a full payout which sounds good, but it starts to take the form of a money game. What I don't like about the $500 commission is that you don't necessarily have an incentive to really invest in teaching me. I become your competitor in a sense because every sale I make that you could have made costs you $1,500 in profits. I get the whole thing about leveraging your efforts, but if the system is automated and it's so easy why would you need me when you can sell My Internet Business for $2,000 commissions all day long?

What this basic logic tells me about My Internet Biz is that it is not fully automated and is harder than they make it sound. That's fine, just tell me that upfront before I pay my $2,995.
