Are Legitimate at Home Jobs a Myth?

The phrase "legitimate at home jobs" was searched for over 24,000 times in the month of April, according to Google. Obviously there are a lot of people struggling to make ends meet in today's economy. Sadly most of those people are probably about to get ripped off.

These people will fall victim to myths like, making $500 a day filling out surveys, or making $800 a day answering emails. The sad fact is that while there are plenty of legitimate ways to earn money from home, for every legitimate one there are two scams.

I myself fell victim to the paid survey scam when I first began looking for legitimate at home jobs. While I'm sure you can find someone who has made money from this, take it from me it is not the way to establish a steady income stream, part time or otherwise.

Another problem when looking for a way to earn extra money from home is that unless you possess some sort of technical knowledge, your options become very limited. Customer service jobs that used to be the best source for part time work from home are now being outsourced to other countries. So unless you want to assemble bracelets for 10 cents a pop, finding work from home could be very difficult.

Out of all the so called legitimate at home jobs I've tried, only one actually was what it said it was and does what it says it does, Article marketing. Though it is a business rather than a clock in clock out job, it is one that is easy to learn, if you have the right tool, and can be started and run with no cost.
