4 Types of Legitimate Home Based Businesses That Work!

Let's clear a few things up right away, things we both can agree on. First of all, you and I are not stupid. We both know that SOMEWHERE out there in the home business world, among all the scams, some have got to be honest and for real. The answer to this question is YES, there are.

Even after many false starts, thinking "this is the one" you find out it's just not quite what you're looking for. That may be because you haven't asked yourself the very first question you need to ask BEFORE you even start looking - What TYPE of business is it that I really want?

I have found that most home based businesses can fall under four basic types

1) The totally online business. One of the most common of this type is "Affiliate Marketing". This is simply finding someone else's product or service and promoting it for a commission. This type requires the least amount of time each day (2 to 4) hours, can be started as a part time venture while you continue your regular job, and can be started with less than $50. You can build it as small or as large as you want, and has the potential to out grow your present income.

2) "Kitchen Table" Home Business. This type is for people who like to work with their hands without all the 'hard labor' so to speak. Someone 'hires' you to do some sort of piece work for pay and yes, can actually be done at your kitchen table. The advantages of these are you can sometimes involve the whole family for a couple hours a day to make a pretty decent monthly income. But, unlike going to work everyday, you're not expected to do a certain amount of work for your boss everyday. You are in control of how much or how little you do.

3) The 'work outdoors' home based business. These can be found online and joined online but the work itself is all done out side the home, but is not necessarily a franchise. These requires more investment, usually for someone's equipment to use. You are somewhat tied back to the originator of the business, usually involving quality and not necessarily quantity of work. But, again, you have more control than you would working 9 to 5 for someone else.

4) The fourth type is one that is very similar to the last one with some major differences. It's done with a relatively larger investment, you'll need to buy equipment, but it's all yours. You completely own and operate it from beginning to end. If you love working with people as far as providing them what they love to do, then this type may be something to take a look at.
